Leslie's Story
While at Romig, my chief activity was band with Mr. Harpke. I remember going to the roller skating rink just about every Friday night; Going ice skating as part of gym class; And the "new" indoor pool that had just been built at West HS.
I left Anchorage in 1972 and moved to Kansas City. After 10 months there the family moved back to San Antonio, TX where I had originally come from.
I married in 1979 and have two children, now grown. I have lived in Atlanta GA for almost 22 years.

from Jefferson in '77. Studied architecture and on my way to UT-Austin, was detoured by Bill Amick, my husband of 30+ years (!). Finished up in Fine Art at Kennesaw State in 1995 and went on to get my masters in psychology, professional counseling. Have been designing prosthetics for the past 12 years, have a patent pending, and am in the midst of developing a clinical trial. I am a pastel artist and spend my vacations attending workshops around the country to study with professional artists.
