Leslie's Story
Raised in Minnesota to 4th grade, then moved to El Segundo, California, and went to college at three Concordias.
I've been married to Lois for forty-five years; have two grown and successful daughters and two preschool grandsons; live in Los Angeles; ride a long-distance recumbent trike, created and maintain my church's website; teach Sunday School; sing in the choir.

Young Scholar, a children's bookstore in Glendale, for 23 years until we closed in 2007.
In 2008 I began substitute teaching for LAUSD and in 2013 I began teaching full-time again, a fifth-sixth combination class at my church's school.
In the spring of 2016, I retired from full-time teaching, and have been substituting again, part-time, a day or three a week (or none at all). If I can get my health a bit stronger, I hope to do some long-distance trike touring again.
