Leslie's Story
Life
After business school, I returned to John Day and have lived here ever since except for 1 year in Portland. I married Hugh Farrell in 1968 and we were divorced a few years later. 11 years later I married Bubba Lindley. We were married for 22 years and divorced in 2001. I have 2 children, Lisa, who lives in Solvang, CA and has a craft beer & wine bar, and Katrina, who lives in Portland. Life has thrown me some curves, but faith in Jesus Christ and a good attitude have made life good, no matter what is thrown my way. I remarried early in 2011 to a wonderful man, who has been my friend for about 40 years. We are looking forward to our life together.
College

Portland right after graduation. Susan Farley was my roommate. I took Banking and Key Punch, (anyone remember keypunch?) I took a job with a bank right after graduation and have been with them ever since, almost 54 years now. I am working part time now and plan on retiring in Sept, 2021.
Workplace
I am now retired from Bank of Eastern Oregon , working for them or their predecessor for almost 54 years now. I keep very busy with community activities, my home and my dog and 5 cats. My favorite outside activity is giving tours of Kam Wah Chung Museum, during the summer. My brother, Larry , also lives here and my sister, Loralie, lives in Prineville.
Life is good. I am at a very happy place in my life.
