Leslie's Story
Well let's see. After HS I went straight to work. No college for me, wasn't able to afford it. Besides, I was never the studious type.
My aunt was an Assistant Manager for Hudson City Savings Bank so that's where I started my banking career. 21 years later that's still what I'm doing. I am an Assistant Manager with a bank in Connecticut since that is where I now reside.
I have not led a boring life to say the least. If you remember me well enough from HS you all know I was a big Duran Duran and Monkees fan. Well I got to live 1 year in a whirlwind relationship with one of the Monkees! You'll have to ask me who to find that one out!
I was engaged 2x before my now husband. The 2 times previous were just not in the cards. They were not who I was meant to be with I guess.
I still talk with both of them from time to time. You can never have to many friends!
I am married to a wonderful man who I truly adore. We have no children since we met so late in life. (mid 30's) At that time in our live's we were both too set in our ways and comfortable to start a family. Our family is all of our animals.

rrently have 2 dog's. Ben (Australian Cattle Dog/German Shepherd mix) and Chino (Brittany Spaniel/Boarder Collie Mix) whom are both from a local Ct shelter group. John and I do a lot of work with this particular shelter. In between training and just volunteering we find ourselves very busy. We had a purebred German Shepherd who lived to the ripe old age of 14. Her name was Schatzie. It was a very sad year for us when we had to put her to sleep. But, we got Chino in return, who was a stray dog on the streets from Puerto Rico.
We also now have 8 cats. Yes, 8 cats! And we love them all!
Bella, Grumpy, Loki, Peanut, Nyla, Arriana, Lena and Dodger. All had been strays or were from local animal shelters.
Can you guess we love animals.
Another thing I love to do is to go to Walt Disney World!!! I told my husband that when I retire I want to work for WDW in Florida. He laughs at me. Wait he''ll see!
