Lester's Story
Family:
Been real busy personally, married to my third wife(yes third). I have five children, four boys and a girl(the baby), two from my first marriage, one from my second marriage and two from this marriage. No real drama with first two marraiges I just work alot and that's not easy for everyone to understand. I am currently very happly married to a wonderful women, even though she graduated from Velt, named Evelyn. Evelyn is also the younger sister of one of our 83 classmates Vernita Hogan. Small world, I didn't even know Vernita had a younger sister.
Work:
I joined the Marine Corp right after high school, did four years and I came hom...Expand for more
e to help run our family's store C & M Liquors in Gary and to attend college. Had to drop out of school when my brother, Vince, passed away to run the store fulltime and have been doing that every since. Our store keeps me a little busy sometimes but I love working with family.
Socially:
I have been coaching Biddy Basketball for about nineteen years now. I have a few kids and young men that I mentor. I try to be a positive influence in Glen Park and Gary in any way that I can.
