Libby's Story
Life
I came down to San Diego in 1993, and got my B.A. in Sociology, at SDSU. I worked as a Case Management Program Supervisor at St. Vincent de Paul Village for 7 years, working with the homeless population. I have worked with teens and adults, with mental health and substance abuse issues, and have really enjoyed it. Currently, I'm working for the County, as a Regional Coordinator for the Ombudsman Progam (Aging & Independence Services), and work with residents (mostly the elderly) at licensed facilities.
I like to stay active, whether it's attending classes at the gym (kickboxing, etc), ...Expand for more
or running/walking the Bay or beach. San Diego is so beautiful, I would rather be outside most days.
I just got married on 10/25/08, to a wonderful Welshman, that makes me laugh constantly. He has 2 wonderful kids, 9 yr old boy and a 10 yr old girl, great ages! We hope to add to our family next year, but we know we are blessed either way. I will most likely be moving over to the U.K. next spring, starting a new adventure.
Life is good!
P.S. I am not a "Gold Member," so if you leave me notes, I'm unable to see who has left me a note. Most of our Class is on FB, so you can find me there. :)
