Lillian's Story
My story mmmmm...... Well, after Balfour I worked for A&N Mail Order Warehouse, then got on with the Federal government. Got married. Bad choice! Worked for the Feds for just over 10 years, worked for a church for 4 years, worked for the Saskatchewan government for just over 10 years, then joined my daughter in BC and worked for Regent College, UBC, and retired from the City of North Vancouver. My son died of cancer in 2004. I am now retired My daughter and I were allowed to live with the world's most spoiled cat, but he has gone to kitty heaven. I try to...Expand for more
get back to Regina once a year. The only football I watch is when the Riders are playing. I like Corner Gas and the Mercer Report, old movies and programs about history. I recently watched Lucille Ball in an old b&w playing a typist and of course it was a manual typewriter, The ribbon kept getting caught up above where the keys strike so nothing was showing on the paper. You have to be of that "certain age" to relate to that. Sorry Regina doesn't have the Royal Red Arabians anymore - I always enjoyed watching them, beautiful horses and beautiful costumes.
