Lillian's Story
I was born in Blamertown Ontario and moved to Sarnia Ontario at the age of 8. I attended Sacred Heart School for 3 years, then transferred to St Helen's School. I went to Northern Collegiate for high school and graduate in 1980.
Shortly afterwards I got a job at Glacier National Park in Rodgers's Pass BC and worked there for 4 months. I then moved to Calgary Alberta. I met someone there and after 3 years we moved to Prince George BC, where we lived for 3 years. In my last year there I attended the College of New Caledonia, majoring in Sciences. We then moved back to Calgary and I transferred into the University of Calgary. I decided not to pursue the sciences and instead entered into the Business program where I graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Marketing and Management Information Systems.
After graduation we moved to Edmonton Alberta where i still live. I worked for several consulting companies as a business analyst, eventually specializing in PeopleSoft financial so...Expand for more
ftware and helping medium to large companies set up and run their Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Contracts applications. This involved a lot of travel, living and eating a lot in hotels, andliving on expense accounts. I lived in Jacksonville Florida for almost 2 years before R returning to Canada. I continued to travel, working in Vancouver, Toronto, San Francisco/Pleasanton CA, Frankfurt Germany, and many other places. After 5 years, I settled down in Edmonton again and began working for the Governent of Alberta, in the Department of Environment.
After almost 20 years in IT, I needed a change and so I began my studies in Acuouncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at MacEwan University. After 4 years of study, I graduated in June 2014. I have since written 4 of the 5 National Exams to become a registered Acupuncturist.
During my time at school, I also became a certified Reflexologist, Reiki master, and Cranial Sacral Therapist.
I'm divorced, have no children and have currently two dogs.
