Lily's Story
Life
After finishing high school, I went on to get my RN diploma at George Brown College, where I met my husband (Tech. program) in intramural curling activities. After a brief nursing career, I began my true calling to become a mother, and we have 4 kids (2 of each), the oldest married and giving us three grandchildren!
I spent the first 20yrs of marriage raising the 4 of them, running daycare for 4-6 more and operating a home business of Cake Decorating (wedding, birthday, showers...).
I keep busy gardening, volunteering, walking Parker, our giant puppy, a shepherd/hound mix, baking and...Expand for more
trying not to hurt when I exercise!! We live in Etobicoke, never having moved far from my old neighbourhood! We attend Rexdale Alliance Church in Rexdale and love it!
My husband and I will mark our 34rth anniv. this summer - europe has somehow dropped off the radar for now :(
but we did manage an amazing 4 wk trip to Uganda to visit my daughter and family while they work there for 2 yrs! Incredible, unexpected, and wonderful!
But now on the home front, we are planning to get out of this crazy city and live somewhere quiet and sane - where dogs indeed can run free without breaking the law!
