Linda's Story

Life Since graduating from Ruth's Chapel in 1984, the following events (and alot more) have taken place in my life: - Worked in Washington, DC with the Department of Justice - Got Married - Gave birth to two beautiful girls (now 12 and 15) - Employed at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point from 1988 to present. - Spend most of my time at work, being the best mom I can be, staying active with my girls who both play Babe Ruth Softball and still enjoying watching my Dallas Cowboys play in the fall/winter (even though they haven't been doing well lately). School The funniest moment I remember from school was when a few of the guys from my class (not m...Expand for more
entioning any names, loyal to the end, haha), locked and shook the SNACK SHACK with Ms. Sellards inside. Another funny moment was when me and Denise Garris were in accounting class, Ms. Sellards got onto us for talking and threatened to make us move away from each other and we told her we could move, but we would keep talking anyhow. That was disrespectful, but it was funny to us at the time. Hey, y'all remember somebody putting packs of ketchup under the teacher's stand and when she sat it down, ketchup squirted everywhere? Geez Louise....hehehe. Workplace For the majority of my career, I have been a Human Resources Specialist at Cherry Point, NC.
