Linda's Story
Life
After graduating, I worked for National Bank of Detroit for a couple of years and then went to work in the Computer Services Division of Oakland County. I got married, had 2 children and moved to Florida in 1983 where I continue to live. Children are grown - daughter is 24 and she and her husband are expecting their 1st child in June of 2002. My son has a little girl who is 2 1/2 and a little doll. I have been divorced for 5 years. I live in a town called Palm Coast which is on Florida's east coast between Daytona Beach and St. Augustine. My position is the Human Resources Manager of The Ginn Company. We are a real estate development, golf course construction commpany, meaning we buy raw land, go in and establish roads, canals, lakes, etc. as well as build the golf courses designed by Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklau...Expand for more
s and Tom Watson. (No, I don't even golf.) We have a beautiful project right here in Palm Coast on the ocean. Presently we have 250+ employees, but as we take on more projects we continue to grow. We have communities in Charleston, SC, Palm Coast, FL, Orlando, FL and Stuart, FL. We will soon be starting a new project in Naples, FL and are pursuing a project outside of Denver Colorado.
I have lost contact with all of the people I went to school of with the exception of Kathy Franz, who lives in Ft. Meyers, FL. We talk occasionally.
I went to our 20 year class reunion and was so disappointed with the lack of communication and organization, that I decided I wouldn't attend another and don't even know if there was a 25th.
I would love to hear from other people and find out where they are and about their lives.
