Linda's Story
Life
After four years in California while my husband was in the service we moved back to Idaho and spent the next 20 years there. When the plant that he worked at burnt and they decided not to rebuild we moved to Minnesota, for Mike to work as power plant operator at Potlatch. Potlatch sold out to a company from Canada and after they ran the place for 2 years they decided to cut a whole production line and to close the power plant. So we headed back to Idaho and Mike now is working at the power plant at Washington State University. I am currently working for Wal-mart part-time as a cashier and at University Inn part-time as a bookkeeper.
We have three wonderful boys ages 31, 29 and 27. Our oldest, Jeffrey...Expand for more
, is an LPN and in the Army reserves, in the process of getting his RN degree. He married and they have two sons. They currently living in Anchorage, Alaska. The middle son, Scott is married and has 4 of the cutest little boys in the world (of course I am not prejudice on this). He is attending college, finished carpentry two years ago and now taking sales and management hoping to have his degree this next spring. Our youngest son, Daniel works for IGT gaming as a field technician but is looking to get out of the gaming industry shortly. I myself am headed back to school a couple of years ago and also hope to have my degree by next spring. I am attending the Tech School and taking Administrative Assistant.
