Linda's Story
Hello to all. Here it goes. What i've done since 1979. After graduation I worked and went to college (CCM in Randolph) received my degree in May of 1984. Got married to Joe Corona (MHS 1977) in October 1984. Bought a house and moved to Phillipsburg, NJ. Worked at AT&T for several years. Had three wonderful children Ashley, Joey, and Lauren. I worked until Ashley was 1 and then I became a stay at home mom. Went back to college in PA and received a degree in Travel and Tourism in 1997. Worked on my own for a awhile then became very involved with my kids as their scout leaders,sports program volunteer, etc.. BUSY, BUSY, BUSY. I burnt myself out. Then in October 2004 our familys life changed when my husband was diagnosed with a cancer that could only be treated not cured. He fought so h...Expand for more
ard and tried to keep as busy as possible (motorcycle riding, put in a new furnace, water pump, pipes in the basement) And spending alot of time with his family. He was able to teach Joey to ride a Honda that he had just bought and was hoping to teach the girls too but he died several days later on August 29th 2005. So life has changed here and were adapting but its been very hard on us but were all getting back to some normalcy. Ashley is in her Jr.year of college. Joey graduated last year from High school last year and is looking for work and Lauren is in 7th grade, And I'm going to be looking for work soon and I am selling the house to move to PA. Hopefully soon. So that whats been going on here at the Corona house hope to see everyone at the reunion in September. Take Care Linda
