Linda's Story
Life
I have lived in the Seattle area since November 1967. My husband, Jim, and I have been married for 50 years. We have five children, seventeen grandchildren and five great-granddaughters. Our son passed on at age 18 and our first grandson at age three months.
I travel whenever possible. Favorite places: Italy, Thailand, England, Spain and Tenerife Island (Canary Islands), and several favorite states within the USA. I try to get to New York City at least once every other year to attend plays. I think I'll be avoiding NYC for some time to come. I am retired from The Boeing Company after 24 plus years.
I am still very busy with Northwest Association of Mothers of Multiples and local parents of multiple birth children, currently serving as Trustee (Past President) and Editor of the quarterly magazine for the NWAMOMC with members in WA, ID, AK, OR and BC. I have identical twin daughters and one of them has twins. There are three generation of twins in the immediate family including my husband,

iven out $66,000 in scholarship money for deserving and remarkable WHS graduate since 2011. We are a 501(c)(3) organization. The recipients have attended or are attending UCLA, Cal-Poly Pomona, UCI, UCR, UCSD, UCB, Stanford, Whitworth University - Spokane and Cal-State Fullerton and Brown University. Following their college activities and learning what they have achieved has made all of the committee's work worth while. These scholarships were made possible by donations from the members of all of the graduated classes from Western High School. The recipients are extremely grateful. We encourage WHS alumni to volunteer as officers, directors or committee members. We also need people to volunteer at our alumni reunions not to be confused with individual class reunions. Checkout our website at whspfaa, org for more information. One of our first scholarship recipients, Czarina Obieta class of 2011. is currently in charge of the website. I hope to see many of you at our next get-together. I am definitely ready to go some place. We are surviving the COVID-19, rioting, the land of CHAZ or CHOP! Everyone stay safe and stay well.
