ir news reporter covering city and county government, crime and the courts. I enjoyed having an impact on local affairs; people said they trusted me to tell their story fairly. I left that job in 2008, and since then I have been editor in charge of the monthly newspaper of the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Breed Association, working from home. Writing and editing seems to be my talent.
I like to travel; I read constantly, mostly history and biography; I also enjoy sewing and needlework. I try gardening every so often, but the dogs either dig it up or roll in it.
