Linda's Story
Moved to Morrisville during 10th grade. Graduated in 64. After my father passed away at 39 in 1965, the family moved back to Croydon. Married my husband, Harry who I dated throughout my high school years, in June of 1965. Moved to Philadelphia where we stayed for years. Had two children. My daughter Annette and son Harry, in 1971 and 1972. We became a boating family and have been involved with the boating community on the Delaware since 1970. Still have a 33 ft Craver motor boat whose home port is Farragut Yacht Club in NJ. and remain active in the Delaware River Yachtsmen's League. Nurse through Northeastern Hospital School of Nursing in 1984......A profession I worked intensely at for 28 years until my retirement in 2012. We returned to Croydon in 1989 when my children were in high school.My daughter married her college sweetheart. She works in Princeton in the hospitality management industry. My son is a construction troubleshooter with a local business. He also has a boat and belongs to our club. My children live close and I have 4 grandchildren. Three live in area and one lives in Iowa . Have just celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary and look forward to our 50th next year. That about wraps up what I have done in the past 50 years.
