Life
Life's a HOOT.After I left school in 63 I worked a few odd jobs. Married in 64, went into Nursing(LPN) in 65.Worked until I had my Son in 68 then a Daughter in 69.In 1971 My 1st. husband became a Post Master in a small town in Sask. Vanguard Pop. 198. what a change for a big city girl. But I really did love the small town life. Then it was on to Radville, SK. for 2yrs.,Weyburn 2yrs.,Meadow Lake 6 wks., 1980 Hay River, NWT. 4yrs. I loved the north. Where I worked for the RCMP & Correctional Center. I loved it. FAST/FWD.to 1984 I moved to Thorhild,AB.To start a new life with a new Husband. Between the 2 of us we have 3 daughter's and 1 son. His and mine. We have 8 Grandkids, 7 boys & 1 little red haired girl. My Daughter and her family live in Thorhild as well.Son and family live in Sask. & ...Expand for more
2 Daughters in BC. 1 in Surrey & 1 in Abbotsford. We call our farm Weowna Farm . Thorhild is 1 hr. N.E. of Edmonton and 40 min. E. of Westlock, AB.Where we o/operate a Certified Organic farm.I got My Class 1 D/Lic. in "89" and Dave and I run double for 14yrs. in Canada & US.We now spend most of our time close to home w/grandkids
& riding motorcycle(Harley of course) w/Daughter & our friends. Taking care of 2 little Dogs. I spend late nights listening to the OLDIES on the internet. LIFE IS GOOD.
In May 2015 we sold our Farm in Alberta by auction & bough a really nice 5 acre Hay Farm in Keremeos, BC. Reno'd 2 houses. Looks like we got out of AB. just in time. LOL. We Love Alberta , but this is the place to Retire for sure. Not staying up so late anymore.Can hear the Oldies all day now. ;-)
