2009 Update from Linda ~
Well, it finally happened, January 1, 2009 - I am finally a retired senior citizen....although I don't feel all that senior.
I'm getting used to this new life style and finding that those who proceded me were right: it does take some getting used to. Still can't break that early getting up syndrome - but the mornings are glorious when you don't have to rush.
I'm keeping busy with so...Expand for more
me purposeful church work and a lot more unpurposeful, though joyous things like reading (didn't know how much you could learn when you actually read the daily paper), novels, playing bridge during the day, movies and now a little travel.
It was fun getting to see a few long-time friends (notice I didn't say 'old friends) at our reunion. I must say the Class of '58 looked pretty darn good.
