as in Marysville and Oroville, CA. I relocated back to So CA in 1978 where I stayed until 1999. I'm now living in the Pacific NW and love it. I'm pretty wrapped up in my pets... all 6 of them. An 8-yr old German Shepherd, Blaze; a 6 yr-old Border Collie, Gertie; and cats of varying colors, sizes and age. They just kind of accumulated. Also a ferret named George... he's a hoot. I have a grown daughter and son and am very proud of my kids. I lost my son in 2010. He passed away following a lengthy illness. He was the sparkle in our family and I miss him every day. I'm currently looking for the perfect part-time job. I like feeling like I'm contributing - plus keeping active is vital to good health. I like road trips and spending time at the seashore. Also, gardening, on-line games with friends and baking. That's pretty much me.".

In Old Sacramento with Lisa Beach and Kathleen Sparlin just before lunch at Joe's Crab Shack.
A tranquil scene on Table Mountain in Oroville, CA Finally made it to the top (via automobile) thanks to my cousin, Kathleen Sparlin..

Last Saturday night Lisa Beach took me to a play put on by the Broadway Rose Community Theater group. The play was a musical called Shaboom. The performers were great - all got into their characters and all were amazing vo

1969 - Buena Park, CA Steve's first experience in the play kitchen. His cooking skills improved greatly. As an adult his specialties were lasagna, burritos and breakfast sandwiches (minus the eggs).
Another pic from memories this morning. 1977 - Oroville, CA. Steve at Scout-O-Rama with his den mother, Jeanne Riley. I think the Scout-O-Rama event was held in Chico, CA.
Shammy is trying to get Dexter's attention. Dexter says, "Go away, Cat. You're bothering me."
