Linda's Story
Life
In 1987 I went to work for the United States Postal Service as a clerk. I worked there until April, 2001 at which time I started my own business along with my sister, Cindy and mother, Glenna. With the September 11th attack happening we have since had to close our business because of financial matters. I am now a homemaker and happily married to my second husband, Barry. I had one son (Corey)from my previous marriage and he had one daughter (Vanessa) from his. I also am a grandmother of a beautiful 3 1/2 year old granddaughter, Brooke, from his daughter. Both our children are married and my son and his wife (Sophia) are expecting their first child (its a girl) in October of 2002. girl you've ever seen. My step-daughter and her husband are expecting their 2nd child October 31, 2003. My husband and I are also new Foster parents to two abused and neglected little boys. Foster parenting is exciting, frustrating and very rewarding. The two little boys are sweet and in need of prents who will love and spoil them. All children deserve a good, safe home and environment in which to grow up and become all that God would have them be.
Update: I am still married with 3 children now. We are currently adopting one of our foster daughters (12 yr. old, Christina). We still do Therapuetic Foster Care in our home. I also have 5 grandchildren now: Brooke (7), Luke (2) and Emily (9mo's) is from my step-daughter, Vanessa. Then comes Aryanna (3) and Izabel (2) from my son, Corey.
