Linda's Story
Life
After leaving Mayfair High School at the end of tenth grade, I moved to Allentown, Pennsylvania. There I graduated from Allen High School. I lived there for 2 1/2 years. Then it was on to Connecticut for 7 years. I got homesick for California, and moved back to Hollister, California, where I lived for 8 years. For the past 17 years, I have lived in Ripon. It is a small town of 13,000 people in the San Joaquin Valley of California. I am a Veterinary Assistant, and have worked for the same office for 9 years. I also have 1 large dog, and 1 giant dog. I love working with animals. You never know what the day will bring. Each day is so different. One day may be an ordinary day. Then the next day you may have to work on an aggressive animal, which will test your natural skills and get your adrenaline going. When you nurse an animal back to health and send them home, it is very rewarding. I was married for 24 years, but I am now enjoying the single life. I have one daughter, and a future son in law. As of yet, I haven't experienced Grandmotherhood. I love outdoor sports, such as camping, boating, and waterskiing.
