Linda's Story

I was born in Bryson City, NC. November. 17, 1946. I went to Bryson City Elementary(gr.1-8, '53-'61). then went to Swain Co. High(gr. 9-12, '61-'65). After graduating, went to work for Atty Robert Leatherwood and the Law Firm of McKeever & Edwards. My mom and I moved to Cullowee and was there from '69-'71. I then moved on to Charlotte in 1972. I met Wayne Starnes and married in '75, and had my daughter(Jennypoo) in '78. Divorced in '80. ...Expand for more
Lived in Charlotte until '93, then moved to High Point in '93. I worked for attorneys for 25 years. Went back to school at CPCC in Charlotte and then to Guilford College in Greensboro, NC and got my Paralegal Degree. I also have a degree in Photojournalism. I worked for The Charlotte Observer, The Gaston Observer and The University City (UNC-C) Magazine. Also, worked on the side photographing social events for various organizations.
