Risha Linda's Story
Hi from Mexico, I had an earlier profile but for some reason it disappeared. I guess I didn't visit the Classmates site often enough. I am doing okay, how about you? I love to travel and have visited 28 countries and 39 U.S. states over the years. I'm an avid photographer and have published my work and won awards both in U.S. and Australia. I have had a host of different jobs, everything from a cook at HERE COMES THE SUN in Miami to a photojournalist and operations manager for a local South Florida magazine to a reader for the retired president of Royal Dutch Shell Oil Corporation. I have also worked with the Dalai Lama of Tibet during his 12 day visit for The Kalachakra For World Peace in Bloomington, Indiana in August of 1999 and hosted numerous Tibetan monks tours through the years...Expand for more
. I was recently a contributing writer in Stewart Rogers book called "What Happened To The Hippies". I am remarried since 2001 to my husband, Alejandro, and I have four children from a previous marriage and two granddaughters. I love to read and have a good selection of books which I give away from time to time as my bookshelves get way too over crowded. I also love to cook tasty organic, vegetarian meals and have a skill for figuring out new recipes. I was a resident of Queensland, Australia for two+ years (1982-1984) and thoroughly enjoyed the experience but had to return to the U.S. due to some unforeseen circumstances. I moved to Mexico on September 9, 2022 and love it here. I hope all of you are doing well and are happy and in good health. Drop me a note I'd love to hear from you.
