Linda's Story
Married in 1967..55 years this year...had a daughter Annette, had a son Jeffrey, lost my brother Bruce due to a car accident, worked at Daymond Co., the Provincial Assessment office, settled in at Union Gas, and after 32 years retired from Union Gas.
Still involved in church, love my stamping and card making classes, love embroidery, knitting and crochet but don't do much anymore, love reading and camping. Well, I don't really love camping, but I do love my husband and he loves camping...ergo...I camp...in a trailer with a bedroom, bathroom, hot water, air conditioning, and heating...and yes - it is so camping! We belong to FCRV and currently hold the position of Provincial Directors.
I was a scouter...started the...Expand for more
first 10 Beaver Colonies...for over 25 years, worked with Red Cross for 30 years more or less, held several positions in NCHA/FCRV (National Campers and Hikers/Family Campers and RVrs but now just in FCRV.)
Two years ago I started piano lessons, which I've always wanted to take.
My children are both married to great people and I'm the very proud Grandma of 5, ranging in age from 29 down to 24 years...three boys and 2 girls.. Now have 3 great-grandchildren aged 2 yrs - 7 yrs...which is odd since I thought I was still in my 50's.
Ralph and I are both retired, enjoying our family, are guarded by a 6 year old ShihTzu named Sir Charles Winston Deline (don't ask) and ruled by Libby the cat, age over 12.
