Life I've continued to live in Tacoma since graduation. I have a daughter, Julie born in 1961 and a son Jim born in 1971. Julie and her husband are the parents of my 2 teen age grand children, Harrison and Meghanne. Both of my children graduated from Wilson and they also live in Tacoma. My brother, Stephen Smith graduated from FP in 1968. He and his wife have 3 grown daughters and live in University Place. Our parent's have both passed away. After over 30 years living in Tacoma's North end, I'm once again out in the "old stompin grounds" of Tacoma's south end. Not all that far from my childhood home on the SE corner of 84th & Waller Road. After over 25 plus years of service I retired from MultiCare Health System on February 1, 2007. I still keep in contact with many of my "old" friends from Midland & Franklin Pierce and many people from former workplaces. Workplace After high school I worked at the local telephone company for 4 years. Then Dunmire Oldsmobile for 4 years, after that Walker Chevrolet for 2 years and Puget Sound Bank for 1 year. I worked at Tacoma General Hospital part time in 1974-1976, again in 1979 I worked at the hospital for 1 year and then in 1982, with the change of my marital status... it was back to T.G. working at various jobs until Februar...Expand for more
