Linda's Story
Bud's woman...a name I'll never live down. After nearly 42 years, I'm still Bud's woman and proud of it. We have one daughter, Angela, married for 15 yrs this year with two beautiful grandsons and a pretty terrific son-in-law too. They live two miles from us and I get to see them often. Bud retired once and was back in another job, a new position after a weekend! I have been a volunteer all my life seems with schools. ave been a teacher instead of a hairdresser! I'm working in 3rd grade again this year, but getting paid this time. The teacher I was working with ended up with 32 kids in the room and they had to hire an overload aide, and I am it since I was already there and had volunteered with this teacher the year before when my grandson was in there. Life has been good, no complaints if I could just hold the body together. (But then again wouldn't we all like that one?)
