Linda Sue's Story
I recently changed careers; after 30 years as a real estate agent, I have completed a Masters in Community Counseling and am a mental health therapist. I specialize in play therapy, PTSD, internal family systems, EMDR, and trauma. What a priviege to walk along side someone as they journey from pain to healing.
Love to do a bunch of stuff. Here's a list that is simply a beginning: Reading, playing with my grandson, studying God's word, fellowshipping with other believers, cooking, trout and bass fishing (even if I don't catch anything), and professional football (especially the Panthers). I also love to play board games, cards, and work on Sudoku puzzles.
Favorite music includes, but is not limited to, Third Day, classical guitar, Peter Kater and Carlos Nakai(especially piano & Native American flute), sax, HillSong, Steven Curtis Chapman, 50's Doo...Expand for more

A few places I've been that have taken my breath away: Bridal Veil Falls during the Spring melt; Highway 1 on the California coast at sunset; the privileged moment when God's hand touches a heart, a body, or a soul; reading the inscription at the Statue of Liberty and feeling it to my core; my toes in the sand at the beach as I watch the sunrise, and holding my daughter and grandson for the first (and every) time.
I have a one year-old Miniature Schnauzer named Tilly T. I am training her to be a therapy dog.
I used to teach and play a lot of tennis, but knee issues are keeping me from it now - I miss it.
I recently helped some friends build a house.
I am working on a book.
And, I have a motorcycle endorsement on my license (though it's been a while since I've ridden).
