Linda's Story
Life
After I graduated from Carrick, I attended IUP and earned my BA degree in government & public service. I attended Duquesne University MBA school for a few semesters until I got a position with the federal government (FDIC) in Harrisburg, PA. I lived and worked in Harrisburg for 3 years before transfering back to Pittsburgh (with the FDIC). I have worked for the FDIC for 11 + years and enjoy the job. unity to spend lots of time in NYC and Washington DC with my job and have also been able to take my family with me on numerous business trips. I was married in 1989 to Steve Hoover who is from Natrona Heights and we have 2 children. Hanna is almost 9 years old and is in the 3rd grade and Laura is 2 years old. We currently live in New Kensington. My parents still live in the same house, so we get back to the neighborhood often.
