Linda's Story

Life Hello everyone from the past. Here's a wee update of our lives in the West. My husband, Roger, and I live in Topanga, CA, in the depths of the Canyon, 20 minutes from Santa Monica and Malibu...smack in the middle. It's suitably wild and untamed to appeal to both of us yet close enough to LAX to make biz trips and traveling easy. Our children are grown and we're lucky enough to have our daughter only 45 minutes drive from here in W. Hollywood. Jane is married and has two beautiful and bright girls, Charlotte who is 20 and Sophie, 16. Her husband is in the 'industry' which makes for some interesting dinner conversations! Our son, Colin, lives in New York with his wife, Anne, and is a bright spark in advertising. That boy can write AND he's exceptionally funny. Is there a better combination? He and Anne now have three-year-old Freya who has brought joy to all the family! Every now and then I am lucky enough to see/chat with old friends ...Expand for more
from the past. Facebook/Classmates has proven to be a more favored connection point for old classmates, and this website has allowed me to keep up with a few folks. Before Elaine Mudrick moved to Vegas, we would get together for lunch, something Mimi Feigenson and I do whenever we can. Interestingly, Mimi used to live here in Topanga so when she came up for lunch, she was in her old stomping grounds, Nancy Weir and I have managed to reconnect a couple of times and that is always a treat as we were so close in high school. She and her husband Don visited us for a wonderful overnight stay. And Jonny Banks and his family are good friends of ours and we see them often. It's been fun getting together with Nancy and Andi Hausman Fribush when in DC. So, while I'm not physically close to the old stomping grounds, there are a few friends from the past. If there's anyone else in Southern California, please drop me a line. Stay healthy... all of you.

Emma brought her beautiful daughter, Indie, to help. What a sweetheart.
The kitchen was abuzz...lots of fab TWC volunteers and yummy nibbles.
Judith Haut making some important decorating decisions.
Beautiful donated bowl and colour coordinated couch pillows. Catherine Catherine S. Grasso and Karla Morrison put some thought into this!
Lorna Brittan Bank always sneaks out onto the grounds at Westwood with a pair of scissors and snips some greenery! A great contribution.
