Lindsay's Story
Life
Hey there! Most likely nobody will read this but who knows...just in case.
Got married in 1998 to Thomas Walsh. He's from New Jersey, so after we tied the knot, I packed up my few belongings kissed my friends and family good bye and headed down to NJ.
While celebrating our first wedding anniversary, apparently the one pill I missed that month let some swimmers through and we got pregnant with twins. Time to move out of the one bedroom apartment and stop working.
After losing 30 lbs from dehydration and puking, Emily and Gregory arrived at 28 weeks gestation on April 1, 2000 weighing 2 lbs 13 oz and 2 lbs 16 oz respectively. They were in NICU for 10 weeks with a few return trips and finally came home with oxygen tanks and heart monitors. They just turned 6 in the spring and are doing great.
Not learning our lesson the first time with careless birth control, on August 8, 2003, baby number 3 arrived. Harrison Kenneth Knox Walsh is our BIG boy and the love of his mother's life...Expand for more
! He's got great cheeks and big hugs.
My husband works at Credit Suisse in NYC, NY as some sort of computer system support geek. Not really sure but as long as he comes home every night, it's all good.
We live in Hazlet, NJ just an hour train ride away from the big City. We never go in to enjoy the sights and sounds but we can see it from the shorelines! We're close to the beaches and about an hour and a half from Philedelphia. We like it.
I am the proverbial stay at home suburban housewife with blue minivan and everything! I just finished up 4 years as President of a Mothers of Multiples Support group of about 90 families. I serve on the state level and am currently the Convention Co Chair for the NJATMC Convention 2007.
Hoping to go back to school in 2007 after we settle our new home in Raleigh area, North Carolina. Looking into early childhood development for Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy - if all goes well.
If you read this, great, hope you can drop me a note.
