Linton's Story
Life
After working as Assistant City Planner in Brownsville for 2 years following graduation from Rice U., I left Texas and have only returned to visit family and Rice reunions. I went to graduate school in architecture at Virginia Tech and then moved (thanks to the Army) to San Francisco. I was on active duty for two years with the Corps of Engineers there, and stayed in the SF Bay Area for another 23 years, working for the one architecture firm.

he attraction of New York was too strong to pass up the opportunity. I now have a great job on Fifth Avenue working for an architectural firm and we have an apartment on the 40th floor (yikes!) in the Financial District, only two blocks from the World Trade Center site.
Almost two years later Greg and I are still busy learning about New York City and enjoying all it has to offer. We're members of Riverside Church and try to get out of our apartment as often as we can to see the sights, go to shows, and bicycle in the parks and bikeways. We are also good tour guides.
