I always wanted to be a mom when I grew up. I just wasn't sure if I wanted to get married! So, I got married probably at an older age than most of my peers. I started out being a sixth grade teacher, took some time off to be a stay at home mom and have my children, then went back to teaching when I turned 40. I relax by doing things involved with music like ringing handbells and singing in the choir at First Presbyterian in Columbus. The wildest thing I ever did in school was nothing... I was always one who, if it was a rule or a law, I wouldn't break it. I have lived in Columbus, GA, then moved to Murfreesboro, Tennessee for ten years, then to Oxford, Mississippi, then back to Columbus. I don't watch or have cable or satellite tv in my home, but I do like to watch movies. I think my girls are turning out to be big into reading because that's what they do instead of watching tv. Life hasn't turned out the way I expected in that my sister and mom died way too young in my opinion. I hope tha...Expand for more
