Hi there everyone:
Well, I've moved a long way from Topeka. I have lived in Escondido, CA for the last 14 years with my husband, CJ and my 12 year old daughter, Lassen. I taught kindergarten in a private school for 11 years, until the school, unfortunately closed. After a year of administrative work as the director of a child development center, I decided to go back to school and work on earning a CA teaching credential. will be subbing a lot, as I wait for more permanent work to present itself. What I've done when not studying or teaching has been training in the Japanese martial art of Aikido. I will be testing for my shodan (1st degree black belt) in February. I am also an assistant instructor at our dojo in the adult classes and a lead instructor in the children's class. I still play clarinet and enjoy playing duets with my daughter, who plays the flute.
