Lisa's Story
Life
I have lived in the NW Atlanta area for the past 4 1/2 years and really miss the slower pace of a small town. I have 2 stepchildren (twins) Nikki and Robert, that are 8 years old. My husband is from Zimbabwe, Africa and shares my love of family, the outdoors, pets, and our friends. Our dogs are Macy Mae and Banjo, 1 bird, Zsa Zsa, a cat, TarBaby, and 5 rabbits... ntil recently going back into the nursing field doing "active nursing" as a patient care manager for a hospice group. Other than staying quite busy with work and home life, we enjoy those too short trips "home" to visit.
Workplace
I've recently returned to "active nursing" as a patient care manager for a hospice group. I spent a few years in the classroom, teaching and overseeing the PCT program for Georgia Medical Institute and also spent a few years as an industrial/occupational health nurse with Con-Agra Foods.
