Lisa's Story
Life
After high school I worked and went to DeAnza College for a few years before transferring to U.C. Santa Cruz. After graduating from U.C.S.C. in 2001, I backpacked around Europe for a month before heading to Law School at U.C. Davis. I hated law school from the minute I started, so I eventually left law school and started teaching. I got a job teaching English at Oak Grove High School in San Jose, and I worked while I got my teaching credential and Master's degree. While in Grad school...Expand for more
I met my husband. We both finished our degrees in the summer of 2004, and we worked at the same school for a year (he's a math teacher). We were married in June 2005. The next year I switched jobs, and I am now a Library Technology Teacher at Fremont High School. I am back at school getting a 2nd Master's degree in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University.
I still keep in touch with one person from high school, but I would love to hear from any of my old friends.
