Lisa's Story
After High School,I took six months off-I felt I needed it?
I then realized I wanted to go to college. I started at
Comunity College and then transferred to my "dream"
school F.I.T. (Fashion Institute of Technology) Fashion
was always my passion. In 1984 my Family moved out
of the Bronx to Westchester-Cortlandt Manor. So I
moved too! I was still attending school,but at night.My
first job was in Mohegan Lake at Alexander's. I
started as a Sales person to a Dept. Manager to
decorating the store. I met my Husband there and we've
been together since......I like to say that he is my
bargain basement special.They only had one floor at
the Mohegan Lake store???? (But I say it anyway) After
Alexander's closed I moved on to other ve...Expand for more
ntures in the
fashion industry. From working behind the scences to in
front and I was a Buyer for a Catalog Co. But I gave it
all up when I gave Birth to my First Child a GIRL-
Alexandra. From the day she was born I knew I couldn't go back to work.Yes her name came from my Husband
and I meeting at Alexander's. Then from that day to
present I've been a stay at home MOM. I have three
children Alexandra(Alex) Anthony and Ashley.Come
this september I will be looking for a part-time job.
I teach Religion at our church to third graders. I am
the class Mom or always helping ot at the elementry
school. I NEVER WOULD HAVE BELIEVED THAT THIS
WOULD BE ME.But, I love it and wouldn't trade my
family for the world.............. God Bless
