Lisa's Story
Life
I graduated from Salem State College in
1987 with a BS in Early Childhood Ed.
I was working as assistant director in a
child care center when I married my
husband Michael. We've been married for
17 years.
I worked in the Center for 5 years when
I had my first child and decided to
start my own in home child care business
so I could be home with Mikey.
Daniel was born two years later in
August 2000 had baby boy number
three, Patrick.

I recently received a Masters Degree in Literacy from Lesley University.
Not an easy task trying to juggle family, working full time and school, but I managed!
In September '05 I began work as a Kindergarten teacher in the Salem Public School System. My classroom is the same one I did my student teaching in 20 years ago. It is by far the most demanding job I have ever had, but I love going to work every day. I can't imagine doing anything else!
