Lisa's Story
Life
Raised in North Babylon. Graduated college with a Special Education degree in '92.I've been working for Western Suffolk BOCES since '87. and I've been Living in Ronkonkoma, since summer of '93. Love Tennis, computer, and watching TV. also fishing on the family boat and vacationing and relaxing in our condo in Florida. Still waiting on the relationship front, but it's not #1 priority!!!
School
I went to UCP -Indian Head Road for K. then to St Charles for 1st and 2nd grade. I was mainstreamed for 3rd grade and went to Weeks Rd Elem. then to Robert Moses middle school. then off to HS at Queen of the Rosary. ...Expand for more
(BIG MISTAKE- but not the friends I made!) but it all worked out when I graduated Human Resources.-AKA Henry Viscardi School- Best move I ever made!!!
College
went to SUNY Farmingdale in 1983 for Business administration -UGH.full-time and boarded. then switched to early childhood ed. TERRIFIC. graduated with an AS in 1986. commuted part-time to Dowling and got my special ed. degree in 1993
Workplace
I have been working for Western Suffolk BOCES since 1987. I was part-time for 6 1/2 years ,and have been full-time since 1993. I am a paraprofessional (fancy name for a teacher aide) I absolutely LOVE what I do!
