Lisa's Story
Life
After high school I went to McCook Community College and played basketball. I received an associate of arts in general studies.
I then went on to University of Nebraska at Kearney, which is where I became interested in Athletic Training which I still love to this day!!! I received a Bachlor of Arts in Education, PE/Health K-12 with an endorsement in Athletic Training.
I then went on to Graduate school at Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas. While there I became a Certified Athletic Trainer and received a Master of Science in Health and Human Performance.
After grad. school I moved to Roswell, NM and became the head Athletic Trainer at Roswell High School. I also teach 4 health...Expand for more
classes and an athletic training class. I currently have 15 student trainers. I am still here in 2007/2008 and love it for the most part.
I have been married for 9 1/2 years to my husband Arthur and have 2 daughters, Sheyanne is 9 and in 3rd grade. Victoria is 3 going on 4 in June, and wild as can be. I have 2 dogs Sadie and Bubbles. My husband is also a teacher and the head softball coach, and he is also a city councilman which he loves doing. So as a family we are on the go a lot!!!! Our girls are growing up at the gym/field/school, but it is good. Sheyanne plays softball, basketball, soccer, soon volleyball and does hip hop and jazz classes. Victoria is in a ballet and tap class.
