Lisa's Story
Life
Those who knew me "way back when" probably wouldn't recognize me now. I've picked myself up, dusted myself off, and I'm enjoying the most kickass batch of lemonade anyone's ever made from the lemons life has handed me! I'm living in Salt Lake, working for the World's Online Marketplace (also known as a little thing called eBay), sharing custody of my children with their daddy while I work full-time and prepare to attend the University of Utah full-time. I'll be majoring in International Studies (specifically the Asian region), because that part of the world is BOOMING right now! Workplace
I have been a substitute teacher, an EMT, a secretary (aka admin assistant), an xray file clerk, a clinic coordinator, an all-around medical "girl Friday" (I worked in surgery, did some CNA duties, worked in the clinic, assisted physicians in the ER, delivered babies, you name it), and presently a fraud claims adjuster for eBay. I'm majoring in International Studies (focusing on India/south Asia), which will come in handy as eBay's presence in that region continues to grow exponentially. I hope to one day earn my PhD in metaphysics so I can help people make sense of their lives and find their direction.
