Life I have been living in the US since 1993......Ironically my husband and I are making plans to move back to the Canada as soon as we have all our projects lined up. We are supposed to be retired, but are busier than ever. We have established a Private Foundation that brings Sciences, more specifically Astronomy to school children and their families. We currently have the FIRST ever Hummer observatory! Our Hummer has a 12" Meade Telescope mounted on a motorized lift that goes well over the height of the vehicle. ORG Currently, our Astronomy Institute is mobile, however, eventually we will head to Canada, in the Niagara region where we will be setting up an actual school with a Planetarium, etc, We will also have Robotic Telescopes in various locations throughout North America, so the classroom can control an actual scope as part of their learning process. We are currently scouting locations in Western & Eastern USA, The Canadian Arctic (Aklavik), Southern Mexico and the Niagara region in Canada. We are seeking land (deeded or leased to our charitable school in these areas. We need additional support and in return can provide any alumni with documents of a donation to a non profit organization for tax purposes. We would love to have additional support for our project from fellow Astronomers out there who would like to be a part of this our project at any level! My husband Derek is presently consulting for Boeing here in Los Angeles while we get all our ducks in a row for the Astronomy Institute project. Additionally, he is obtaining the final expertise needed after 25 years of building satellites, so our Astronomy Institute can put a telescope on our own satellite. Being in LA ...Expand for more
