Lisa's Story
Life
I currently live in Livonia, Michigan, with my husband, Tom (married in Nov. 1995), son, Nathan (born April 2006) and boy/girl twins Elyssa and Kyle born in April 2008. In February of 2007, I left a fifteen year career in the accounting software business to become a stay at home mom. My days are now filled with reading great literature such as Green Eggs and Ham, and meeting friends for kiddie play groups.
After college, I moved to Findlay, Ohio, where I met my husband. During our first ten years of marriage (before kids, when we had money to spend on ourselves!), Tom and I traveled extensively in the US, Austral...Expand for more
ia and Europe. Tom is from Findlay (Vanlue, Ohio, in a graduating class of 37 people!) and we lived in Findlay for 12 years before our jobs moved us to Livonia, Michigan in September of 2004.
College
After graduating from the University of Toledo, I found a job in Findlay, Ohio, at a small accounting software company called Solomon Software (later purchased by a competitor, then Microsoft). After five years, I left the company and worked on my own contracting my time to various related companies. In 2003, I rejoined the company, now Microsoft, and wrote training material for several of the business software products.
