I have had a very busy life since leaving AOC. Vaughn and I married in 1988. I joined the Army in 1989 and served three years. Vaughn and I divorced in 1991 and I remaried.
My husband's name is Cris and we have a total of 7 children! Johnathan 24 and Elizabeth 22 (Vaughn's kids) Emily 18, Kiraleigh (Kate) 17, Julia 16, Samuel 7, and Patrick (Jack) 4.
We have lived in Virginia, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and currently live in Roswell, New Mexico. We homeschool our kids and have since Johnathan was in third grade.
I have my own business designing websites, creating digital embroidery designs, and selling sewing machines & related products. My websites are arkanddove dot com; BestSewingDeals .com; and SewEasySewing .com; I created and run several others: MothersGrievingHeart .org; AngelaFranks .com; and BarrosoConcrete .net.
Johnathan is married to Nikki and they have a two year old little girl named Sarah. He joined the Army in 2005 and is already a Sgt 1st Class (E-6) and has a bunch of medals and commendations.
Elizabeth is married to T.J. (he's in the Air Force). She has two boys, Auston 4 and Travis 2, and is expecting a girl in November. She is in Albuquerque going to college.
Emily graduated with her associate's this Spring and has transferred to UNM for the coming Fall semester. She is majoring in Film Technology and has already worked on real (big screen) movies! Kate started college in January. She is majoring in photography.
Julia started college at ENMU in June and is transferring to New Mexico Military Institute in August. She plans to be an Army officer majoring in Global Studies.
Sam and Jack are ALL boy. They love trains and cars and pretty girls. Patrick was caught trying to grab some ladies backside at Subway and Sam is frequently found looking through the lingerie section of the Sunday ads, lol!
I am horrible at remembering people by name but faces usually help me figure out who someone is, so if you've got pictures, please upload them. If you don't have pictures, please be descriptive about yourself, who did you hang out with, where did you hang out, any information that would help trigger memories and put the name to a face. :-)
Some of the people I used to hang out with were Terry G. (coconut); Tracy Payne & Scott, Rusty, Vaughn Carr - there are many others but I can't find my darn yearbook, lol.
One huge thing that happened during my time at AOC was that my dad killed my step-brother Dennis Pierre and set our house on fire in Algona. Dennis was a student at the alternative jr. high school. My dad got out of prison in February 2005 and committed suicide in September 2005. :-(
Also a boy that lived down the street from me committed suicide back in 1984. He was a student at AOC and I can see his face but I cannot recall his name. There is a dedication to him at the front of the yearbook.
