Lisa's Story
Life
I have been married since July 1980. To the SAME MAN!! Moved to Pensacola FL and lived there for 15 years. Then moved to Alabama (very small town of 3500) for 4 years. Lived in Greeneville TN for 10 years.... Now we live in Evansville IN!!! Always wanted to live in the mountains! Want to go BACK to Greeneville TN which is in the mountains! Don't like the beach as much-- like in Pensacola. The beaches are beautiful there though! I am a stay at home mom, work demos sometimes- my husband works for Pizza Hut as a General Manager and we have a son 32 and a daughter that is 18. She thinks she is 30. We also have two granddaughters that are 10 years old and 7 years old! And a grandson that is 3! WOW I am a grandmother!!! Mike and I have been married 33 years July 2013! Isn't that AWESOME???
I still can't believe it! Would be great to hear from anyone that remembers me! HA! Would like to attend a reunion if possible. Hope everyone's life turned out like they wanted it to.
I always wanted to be a teacher or psychiatrist or author when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right I should have been one or the other!!! lol.
Walking relaxes me. If I get upset I try to "walk' it off as they say!
The wildest thing I ever did in school? I never did anything wild in school! lol I was too scared! I was pretty quiet! But I bet no one knows that I dated a 21 year old Navy guy when I was in 10th and 11th grade!
I had a huge crush on Mike Eppley. He knew it but he was with Dana Witherspoon and married her after college! They are still married so I guess they were meant to be together. There was this newspaper article that compared them to Romeo and Juliet when we were in 10th or 11th grade I can't remember but I still have it! lol I still have the scrapbook I made during the 11th grade of him in basketball-baseball and football.....sounds like they are a very successful family!
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have space, freedom, and flexibilty to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
My hero is my husband for loving me for who I am and not trying to change me! I am a VERY complex personality and he just goes with the flow!

because I loved them both so much in school and kept in touch for a little while but lost them after a few years! I am sure they have changed tremendously but I would love to have dinner or something!. I would also like to add Susan James-Susan Batey-Donna Carpenter (who I still write a few times a year but have not seen in 20 years)
Biggest surprise in my life...hmmmmm. I guess finding out I was pregnant again at 32!! I was very happy about it because it turned out that the baby was the girl I had always wanted! She's 18 going on 30 now! NO KIDDING!!
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel THE KITCHEN and add on a bathroom and dining room. My dream home would be four bedrooms with a game room library and separate laundry room with a detached guest house and in ground swimming pool!.
Oh goodness my kids have taught me things aren't set in stone and you have to be ready for anything! And now with a teen age girl there is SO MUCH drama! I don't remember this much drama when I was in school! There was some but lord if it had been this bad I would have stayed home! lol
I would love to see quite a few but the one I would really like to see would be my middle school teacher Mrs Marylyn Hartley. And it's not really a good reason. I loved her soooo much in school and thought the feeling was mutual but years later I realized she was just being nice because she had to! She really didn't like me. In 8th grade I was secretary of the Spanish club (classmates voted for me) She made another girl she likes more (it was obvious) my partner (she was not even CLOSE in votes!) Anyway she had a campout at her house and said they didn't have room for so many kids so since I was the last voted into office I couldn't go! Guess what? My best friend was invited and she wasn't EVEN an officer in the Spanish club! AND the girl who didn't even get enough votes to make officer went too! So you know I believed that teacher had told me the truth for years! I would like to confront her. Although she probably wouldn't remember me! It made an impact on me!
If I won $100 million, I'd give half of it to American Cancer Society-Diabetes Research- Habitat For Humanity, then spend the rest on a new home for everyone in my family, new cars and college for my daughter and golf lessons for my daughter!.
