Marina's Story
Life
My life has certainly been very different from what I expected it to be. I didn't marry my high school sweetheart (Larry Paxton), I got far more education than I expected (one BS and two master's degrees), and I discovered a lot about human nature that I am happy to know but often learned the hard way. which I knew in high school. I've also discovered a talent for writing and a dry sense of humor that often slips in under the radar of the less alert. I make my living as a freelance technical writer, editor, indexer, and manager, (and sometimes as a paid psychic), and I have had the occasional short story or poem published. (I don't submit many.) I remember UN and Mrs. Centolanzi skunking us all at Jeopardy while we all ate her fabulous cioppino.
