Lisa's Story
I've been a full-time Mom since 2001, sprinkled with some free-lance work and volunteering on my daughters' PTO Boards. My girls are growing quickly, and I'm doing my best to be with them for their childhood. During my late twenties and thirties I worked for a management consulting firm based in NYC, and I worked on every continent with them over the years, traveling roughly 100 days a year. Before that, I managed professional non-profit organizations, and for a few years after university, I traveled extensively in Europe, and then sung and danced in a traveling show out West in the United States.

ut I started singing semi-professionally at university, and then went on to sing with some wonderful groups starting in my thirties. I've performed in Carnegie Hall with one of these groups, and I've had the privilege to work with some wonderful conductors over the years.
My husband is from Prague and has been in this country since late 1987. He was part of the underground trying to overthrow the Communist government throughout the 70s and 80s, and he escaped with his life to Paris before getting political asylum here in the US. He's remarkable and a fabulous father, as well as a wild and crazy character.
