Lisa's Story
Life
Hey everyone! I recently received an email from an old friend from St E's, so I thought I would write something about my life and maybe hear from some other old friends and classmates. I have many cool memories from high school, time spent with friends, having my cousin Michelle a grade above me and getting to spend our high school years together. Playing softball with Miss O'Rourke as our coach. Miss Rogenstein or "JR" as I remember calling her. Sister Kathleen, my art classes which was a big joke between myself and Joy Piccola, since I was always heading for an art class when we passed in the halls. Finding interesting spots within the jr lounge to sneak cigarettes (and only paying $2.25 for a pack at the gift shop in the hotel!!) It would be fun to relive these memories. Anyway, for the here and now...I have developed a career within the medical field, working in private doctor offices and physical therapy facilities. I started out as a receptionist and developed my skills within the billing and collections department. I am currently employed...Expand for more
at the corporate office of a large physical therapy chain as a collections specialist. I enjoy my work and the challenges it brings dealing with various insurance companies and patients to try and convince them that they need to pay for the services my company renders to them or their members! I am seeking to obtain my certification in medical coding and will then open up a private business with a good friend and hopefully run a successful billing/collections office of our own. I am not married and have spend countless hours, days, months and years finding "Mr. Right". I try to convince myself that there is one out there...somewhere?! I am an aunt to 2 beautiful nieces and 2 beautiful nephews, who are the loves of my life. I live in Caldwell now in an apartment off Bloomfield Ave. I still enjoy playing softball and am part of a league in West Orange. I also joined a volleyball league during the winter which is a lot of fun.
Well, I guess that sums me up. Would love to hear from anybody who remembers me. Hope everyone is well. Take care
Lisa : )
