Lisa's Story
Life
My Spouse
He built my house....then helped me sell it after I separated from my first husband. We have been together for 21 years. Our professional lives keep us pretty busy, but in our spare time, we shoot sporting clays and mountain bike. During the winter, we stay in and play guitar hero or wii sports.
My Pets
I have a jackapoo named Beauregard...who keeps our Brittany,Karma, busy. My husband recently came home with another Brittany puppy, who he named Max; he pulled the "look what followed me home" routine. I couldn't resist. We also have a silver cat named Zema, who thinks he's a dog, since he probably can't remember seeing another cat...my daughter found him under our deck when he was about four weeks old and nursed him back to health....still don't know how he got there....

ecided to enroll in an integrative medicine program at UM in hopes of becoming a homeopathic physician. He still rock climbs, is into eastern culture, cooking, and "zen". He is a great kid, a wonderful son and brother, and I feel blessed that he's mine. He's been lucky to find a really great girl....they are getting married in September, 2008. My daughter Meghan is 24 now and was a recent "down-size" victim from Quicken Loans. She took a job as a Kindergarten teacher at a charter school and has found that this may be her true calling. She loves it.
My Job
I am employed as a school social worker where I work with students with disabilities as well as supervise the district autistic program.....keeps me busy.
College
I attended USC right after high school, but life happened and it took me until 2002 to finally earn a graduate degree at the University of Michigan. I am currently working on a doctorate, though I think I will be 90 before I get through!
