Lisa's Story
I returned to Iran after leaving H.I.S. in 1978. Entered Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Tx and studied Criminal Justice for a couple of years before dropping out and moving to Houston. From there, lived in Austin for about 3 yrs and later in Dallas, Tx. Tried life in Los Angeles from 1989 to 1993 and while there became very ill and received a life-saving kidney transplant in Jan. 1991. Returned to Dallas in 1993 and have remained here until 3 yrs ago when I met the love of my life and moved myself and my Austrailian Shepherd, Nikki, to Fort Worth almost 3 yrs ago. were on vacation in Memphis. Not long after that we had to put one of our Shelties down....so hard to do! We now have 3 dogs, 2 shelties (daughters of Daizy) and a road warrior little, not-scared-of-anything terrier named Pepper who stared down my partner a few years ago while she was driving an ambulance trying to go on a call! Pepper just wanted to ride along! I have been driving a bus for the Rental Car Companies at DFW airport for the past 5 years and drove a truck over-the-road before that all over the US. I had seen the world and wanted to see the US as well. My partner, Ann and I are pretty much home bodies just enjoy one another's company and our dogs.
