Lisa's Story
Life
Since leaving school I have worked in numerous different jobs. I have always been in the medical field, one way or another. I started in medical billing, then in a nursing home training up to Medication Nurse. I then ventured into optical manufacturing. I started in a lab making glasses, then on the sales floor selling glasses. I did this for 10 years, evenually owning my own store. With the assistance of HMO's, I lost my business and found myself working for an Ophthamologist prescribing the glasses. I now am the clinic coordinator for a cataract and refractiv...Expand for more
e surgeon. I coordinate two offices, three doctors, and 15 employees. On a personal note, I was married in 1983, My husband passed away in 1990 from bleeding ulcers caused from years of alcohol abuse. I now live here in Tacoma with my 3year old daughter Karen, I am a single mom, and very busy. I am very happy and content with my life and hope all of you are too. I would love to hear from any of my classmates. I regret that we no longer have contact. I guess that comes form moving away and growing up. I have mostly fond memories and would love to talk about "old times"
